Well, guess this one really comes down to. Hotmail that name isn't as popular as it once was. It {gotmerged with Microsoft long ago, and now it's part of their suite of email {services|. That means you can still find Hotmail accounts, but they're more like something from the past. Most people these days prefer other options like Outlook or Gmail.
